Morag Williams.

Morag completed 25 years as the first and only Archivist to the Dumfries and Galloway Health Board in May 2008. During that time she saw many changes of organisation and had in succession nine different bosses(a bit like the 'Vicar of Bray'!). She was also the Curator of the Crichton Royal Museum(now closed), which she set up along with hospital staff at her base on the Crichton site.Since retiring she has been busier than ever dealing with enquiries; although she was not replaced any enquiry, other than something very simple, that the Health Board receives tends to be passed to her(although she enjoys helping people the downside is that she no longer gets paid for her time and she gets less done in her garden!),

I took early retirement from Nestle UK Ltd, Dumfries factory, where I was Warehouse Manager. I am responsible for the technical input to this site so any mistakes are mine. My interests are:

Our Son & Daughter, Sandy & Leri.

Sandy has an honours degree in Offshore Mechanical Engineering from Heriot Watt University . On leaving university he worked for Amoco for some nine years, the last two in Venezuela until they 'merged' with BP. Working for the combined BP-Amoco did not appeal so he returned to the U.K. . He joined Phoenix Petroleum Services Ltd, based in Inverurie, initially as Senior Petroleum Engineer in their Production Management Group then from March 1st 2000 Manager of the combined Production Management and Field Applications Group. He left Phoenix in February 2002, following their acquisition by Schlumberger and a proposed relocation to Houston, and joined Engineering Insights based in Aberdeen. In July 2004 he left Engineering Insights and formed his own company 'ALP Limited'. ALP is an independent, impartial, production focused, maximum success artificial lift training, and consultancy company. He is now based in Edinburgh and has a partner Lee and a son Cairn.

Leri has an honours degree in Nursing from Edinburgh University. After 2 years nursing she returned to Edinburgh University to study medicine. She graduated M.B.Ch.B. in July 2000 and did her pre-registration year with 6 months surgery at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary and 6 months medicine at St John's Hospital,Livingston. She then did a three years General Practice training post at The Borders General Hospital, Melrose followed by working as a Locum to gain experience. In 2005 she married David, an officer in the RAF. She is currently a partner in a Borders medical practice and has two daughters Bronwen and Cerys. CLICK here to return,
