Morag Williams.
Morag completed 25 years as the first and only
Archivist to the Dumfries and Galloway Health Board in May 2008. During
that time she saw
many changes of organisation and had in succession nine different
bosses(a bit like the 'Vicar of Bray'!). She was also the Curator of
the Crichton Royal Museum(now closed), which she set up along with
hospital staff at her base on the Crichton site.
John Williams.
I took early retirement from Nestle UK Ltd, Dumfries factory, where I
was Warehouse Manager.
I am responsible for the technical input to this site so any mistakes
are mine. My interests are:
- Archaeology - Helped at the 1998/1999 dig at the old
Caerlaverock Castle site and currently, with a friend, am investigating
the site of an old Whisky Distillery.
- Photography - taking mainly record shots of items or places I
find interesting.
- Computing - I currently have a PC based on a Soltek SL-KT400A-C
Motherboard with AMD Athlon 2600 CPU and 2Gb of RAM.
- Gardening - We have just under 2 acres of land which gives us a
lot of hard work but also a great deal of pleasure.
- Last but not least D.I Y. (which in the United Kingdom means Do
It Yourself!).
